Construction of the substation and switchyard continues on site. Multiple cast-in-place foundations have been placed in the substation, and precast foundations have been placed in the switchyard, with continued excavation and backfill.

Construction Update: March 2024
This past month, crews completed the synchronous condenser building foundation and backfill. Pier foundations were placed for the structural steel in the substation; work on piers and other substation foundations continues, as does excavation and backfill of the switchyard foundation.
