This past month, crews completed the synchronous condenser building foundation and backfill. Pier foundations were placed for the structural steel in the substation; work on piers and other substation foundations continues, as does excavation and backfill of the switchyard foundation.

Ongoing activities include precast foundation deliveries and setting the precast in the switchyard; deliveries are expected to be completed early next month. The foundation and floor slab for the synchronous condenser will also be completed, making it ready for building erection.
