Downeast Wind submitted its applications for a Site Location of Development Act permit with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection on April 30, 2021 followed by a Natural Resources Protection Act permit application. The Application has been filed for public inspection at the Department of Environmental Protection's office in Bangor and the LUPC’s office in Augusta and Bangor during normal working hours. A copy of the Application may also be seen at the municipal offices in Columbia, Maine and the Washington County offices in Machias, Maine.
